Ohio Craft Beer Continues to Provide Positive Economic and Social Impact

It's no secret the number of craft breweries in Ohio continues to rise, but Ohio's national rank fell (from 9th to 12th). It goes to show you despite craft's popularity in Ohio, there is room for more growth. The same is true for the number of breweries per 100,000 adults 21 years and older (rose but national rank fell).
Production rose yet Ohio's national rank remained the same. The economic impact Ohio receives from craft has likewise grown since 2012, as has Ohio's national rank.
At the end of the day, Ohio's craft breweries should continue to be recognized for the positive economic and social impact they make in their communities and the state as a whole. Now that's something we all can drink to.
